  1. Plants versus Zombies Garden Warfare was a good game regarded by a busload of videogame reviewers. I was actually thinking about picking it up. HOWEVER, now that all reviews have been made and the game has probably sold well due to those reviews. Reviews of which quite a few made the "no microtransactions here, game looks and plays pretty solid" claims. EA did a nice 180 degree turn to make a colourfull turd all over PvZ:GW by making a patch add in microtransactions. *sigh*. Ohkay let me put it like this, games for which you have to pay up front, and then are also lithered with microtransactions are an instant condemnation qualifier as far as I am concerned. Not because I do not think that dev's and publishers do not deserve the money, but because I am afraid that once the balls get rolling then there will be an absolute OPness to everything you can buy just to grease the microtransaction-train. And in this case, we are talking about EA !
