I'm not sure if I'll ever speak with 60% of my friends or 40% of my family after this year. I've got half-Mexican, Neo-Nazi cousins (f*** me). Friends who think it's hawt when their wives make out with other women from church, but who will vote not to allow my brother to marry his (also male) fiancee. That isn't "politics" tearing apart a friendship. It's the fact that you actively deny the humanity of my loved ones, and take part in steps to harm them, all for your personal (stock portfolio) gain or personal (religious belief based) Feeeeeeelllllllllssss...
