    @omni I am not sure I agree with that. Nowadays I come here primarily because I have friends here, rather than any interest in the source material. Certainly I would agree that the fandom as a unified group has a best-before date, but the bonds groups within it have made will endure.

    @omni Increasing complexity. WLM was rock solid when it was MSN messenger because all it did was send and receive text messages. Now it does all this extra crap and cross network messaging, it runs like bananas.
