I think what @optimus was getting at was the comment about the US not affecting the world... unfortunately as much as I wish that were true, they are in the perfect position to crash teh entire economy ;) lol.... and I've tried to believe in independant markets, but being in Canada, I've seen a lot of American impact on our markets.... it sucks.

@optimus Aside from things like SOPA, which only cross boundaries because the internet doesn't respect national borders int he first place, the US very rarely impacts the rest of us at all.

@optimus I think that's an exaggeration. I actually really like America, and most people don't have an opinion on it one way or the other.

@optimus It is a very beautiful place. I've ben there severql timesto visi relaties in Alberta. You got the huge rollin plains, the Rockies, the lakes. I'd love to live there
