  1. Programmers only enjoy difficult CS projects like writing compilers because, although it's difficult and can take a long time, the requirements never change and the problem is very concrete. Unlike the BS in software development where the requirements change EVERY OTHER DAY and your company NEVER IMPLEMENTS YOUR SOLUTIONS!!!! ..... I'm not mad

  10. @scribus Chinese uses no alphabet, it uses logograms. You cannot by definition of pangram create one with this language.

  11. @scribus At least the lens flares were authentic. People criticise it but fail to realize that olds Star Trek films were littered with lens flares.

  12. @mrmattimation Not really, the differences never bothered my at all to be completely honest. The digital and set design on those films was so god damned beautiful it makes me cry just thinking about it. Seriously the first one was made in 2009, yet still looks modern.

  13. I understand that many Star Trek fans disliked the JJ reboot films. I loved them for their own reasons. I do have one issue that I just CAN NOT overlook. At 25 minutes into the film you can see the NCC-1701 being built. The Enterprise in the prime timeline, along with literally every other starship was not built on the planet, but built in space!!!

  19. @noooooooo It's certainly not the we don't care. I think I can speak for all of us in saying, we care. However, you are demonstrating a certain amount of immaturity over this. The mods of that community can do whatever they feel like doing. It's there "club" so to speak. You had no right to be there, they allowed you to be there and participate. You can't ask for justice to be served when no injustices were committed.

  21. @adiwan I learned a while ago to never use liquid cash to pay for expensive things. If you can find financing with a low apr, do that, keep your capital invested, than you only have to pay the difference between your invested apr and the loan apr.

  22. I don't know if this is legal or not, but I don't pay taxes "correctly". I filled out my W2 so that I pay 10$ on each paycheque. I invest what was supposed to be paid (along with other investments) When April rolls around, I file my taxes and pay what it owed, but it's essentially less because of the return on the investment.
