  1. I keep vodka in my freezer so when I want/need to cool an ambient beverage I can cool it in under a minute. Super convenient, would recommend.

  5. I love how we live in a world where the quality of software can cost people their lives, and yet people still don't want software engineers to be legitimate, licensed engineers. Oh well, I guess that's good for me, right? I can build crappy system and not be held criminal liable, heck yes!

  6. Every year, the cost of life saving medications rises at the same time insurance cost rise or benefits fall. Private healthcare and pharmaceuticals have been nothing but a burden on the American people.

  10. If last mile shipping is so expensive and difficult to manage, why then does UPS not offer an option to schedule parcel pick up times at their carrier facilities? Really, why can't I do that? Customers already paid to have it delivered last mile, so why not allow it?

  14. @scribus Yes really! However, you will never experience it unless you are using let to define the variable and you are making asynchronous calls from within the loop

  17. My honest opinion is that the general public should not be instructed with ability to drive, or at the very least, the privilege should require stricter testing standards. People (humans as a whole) are not as intelligent as we perceive ourselves to be. We are stupid, dull, prideful, creatures that make terrible judgments at the expense of all others.

  18. @oracle Using and feeling comfortable with, sorry. I know a few people who feel that cruise control s dangerous and takes control away from them. I was hopeful that younger people would be more open to the idea, but many of my classmates are strongly opposed to the idea.
