The business started as a one man kayak school based out of his garage, and was focused on delivering world class customer service, instruction and expertise. Outdoorplay quickly grew a loyal customer base in the Northwest and developed into a thriving outdoor retail operation located in Hood River, Oregon. When we went online in 1998, Outdoorplay became a national presence, and the rest is history!
