@pony I need to get into that... but I'd probably forget to use it when I'm out and about and my pre-paid credit for my phone only has 30 day expiry anyway... I don't need to recharge it all the time because I hardly ever need to /make/ calls

@pony £159 so whatever that comes out to
-
@pony If you have a little money, Google just released a new Nexus 7, slashing the price of the old model. I picked one up at a ludicrously low price and I love it.
-
@pony Yeah
-
@pony Silly business move, argue it all you like, but the majority of people don't really care about the story in Pokemon games.
-
@pony So yeah, it's not happening.
-
@pony But that would make a super mess of the old games, since I'm assuming some of the new pokemon learn moves specific to their generation. What, do they just not learn the move anymore? What if they have it when they're traded?
-
@pony The new titles will not be playable on the "classic" DS, so do not have to be coded with the absence of internal storage in mind.
-
@pony Well, now all DS units have storage as standard it's possible, but still not especially likely. They'd just shoehorn in engine changes and things to make it "impossible" to backport new pokemon. Like add a new type, for instance.
-
@pony Why bother buying the new hot product if you could just cheat with a buddy who has it and get all the pokemons for free. Besides, I really don't think Nintendo is making money off of anything beyond White and Black 2.
-
@pony No. It won't work that way. They can't actually write to the cards outside of their dedicated save partition, which is a) in use and B) tiny anyway. So to "patch" it they'd need to write the patch to another storage device, which DS's prior to the "I" don't have.
-
@pony No way, they would lose money.
