@rarity I'd consider fast an element of ferocious but ferocious is sort of more of a wider term. Energy, approach, noise, power, and several other factors are important.

@rarity On ome hand that kinda sucks but on the other hand it gives you a good excuse to spend a bunch of time raking

@rarity I generally try to find excuses to avoid raking duty but will still occasionally do so to play in a big leaf pile

@rarity I guess that's a win-lose because it adds a nice aesthetic but means you have to do lots of raking and sweeping

@rarity My neighbourhood's similar though I don't think it's as removed as yours is. But it's mostly elderly people here so it's usually very quiet and there's a lovely canopy of trees above the road.

@rarity Oh I remember those days. I had driven from Anoka to south mpls in my first car... pretty much same expirience...

Also that really bites having to pawn things in order to get ahead in life. I've had to do that more than once already, not any easier.
