I think 2020 may not kill me, outright; but it may already have killed any potential to ever be happy and at peace ever again

Well, over the weekend, I learned the bummer way that you need a whole different product and high temperatures to dye polyester :-/

Man, the Talking Heads have got cardio for d a y s. I mean, any live music needs some good endurance, even guitar or non-vocals, but to add jogging onstage?

Anyway remember Parasprites? Remember cranked-out Pinkie Pie, running around all pell-mell, on totally unrelated tasks? I miss a responsible, informed approach like that...

Meanwhile, in Murrica: "The seven-day average of new cases has climbed above 56,000, a level not seen in the past 12 weeks, and is 14% higher week over week, according to John Hopkins data." https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/19/health/us-coronavirus-monday/index.html

@adiwan Fingers crossed, man.
-
@adiwan So, next stop, 1,600 cases?

@adiwan Have thought about it, actually.

@adiwan I'd really be more interested in, like, smelting and molding and pouring and hammering and all that blacksmithing jazz, myself.
-
Wait wait wait a minute, do I remember a 90s toy that was a little jewelry maker that basically repurposed an Easy Bake to melt pot metal in a mold??
Wednesday, 14-Oct-20 18:12:27 UTC from web -
@adiwan Yeah, I'd bet anything above, like, pewter would be a nightmare (and probably even that). I'm pretty interested in these housing-scale applications I've been seeing. I remember reading something as a kid back in the mid-90s about the theory, with cranes suspending cement mixers to pour layers and build up walls according to the blueprints.
-
@adiwan Does this one do metal? Are you going to 3D print a rifle and silence your neighbors at long last?
-
"There's a sucker born every minute," America heard. "Oh yeah? I bet I can get one out every forty seconds!" she replied.

@adiwan lol In America, that's probably enough "hacking" to do some jail time
-
Oh boy, fake ballot boxes and hey wasn't it like the ten-year anniversary of pony or something not too long ago?
