@spots Animal control is not particularly useful around here. Plus the owner won't bite my cat to death. What do I have might for if not to keep the things I care about alive? If it happened once I cannot count on the dog's owner to keep it from happening again, and I don't want to bury my cat.

@spots Stalking, ears and muscles tense, teeth showing. Clear signs of agression. According to my mother, who I just told about this, these same two dogs did basically the same to her as she was coming back from doing groceries. The only reason they didn't do any harm was because I ran after them before they could. They're not defenseless. They have teeth and claws, there's two of them and I have a strained foot. More than fair conditions if you ask me.
