  11. I don't want any drama. Believe you me, there is already enough of it on the internet regarding this topic.

Alec Holowka, the person who did about 95% of the work on a game known as "Night in the Woods" has passed away.

Due to the recent happenings with Zoey Quinn a lot of people are re-opening the kitchen-sink regarding almost all the big harms that remotely touched video games the past 6 years or so. I do not want any of that.

I just want to say. Alec, I do not know you, you do not know me, We no doubt would disagree on a lot of topics. But I'm almost sure that we could find twice as many we could talk about while sharing a cold one.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets, and dealing with them should be what you are going to be remembered for, next to where I believe a lot of your hard work can be found, the lessons and wise words of the NitW universe and the musical work you left behind.

May you find peace wherever you are.

  12. My fridge is almost completely filled with water bottles. Not only to have something cool to drink but also to keep the cold in the fridge such that it doesn't waste a ton of energy to cool it down after opening the door.

Me & other coworker : laughing like Peter Griffin

Boss peaks his head around the corner : "Aight what is going on here ?"

Coworker : "Oh I just hate that laugh."

    Boss : "Why ?"

    Coworker : "Because Peter Griffin"

  14. @scribus Very convenient indeed. I have it to start my music player so starting a song while turning on my car is as quick as it can be.

  15. @mrmattimation "every piece of art can be criticized though the eye of the beholder. Noone, not even the original artist, can tell the beholder to be wrong" - Jim Sterling a recent video of his. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875120

My qualm is that someone can take a look at your comic about getting robbed and also shout "Keep politics out of my cartoons". He probably would not even be halfway as wrong compared to what your whole take about unionization is to a non-american.

You should make life easier on yourself, not harder.

  16. @scribus I did some calculations. Technically I could make a prototype of something like this at the next nerd-camp I go to ( just 48 weeks from now. can't wait )

But it probably will not be comfortable, and might just end up looking like bad "Tin Woodsman" cosplay... and it might not even be in any way better than to just inflate an inflatable boat and use it as a bathtub.

    Hngg. Choices.

Though I am starting to see why a product like this has not been made IRL yet...

  19. I would like to know the name of that thing I probably saw in the simpsons once.

It was pretty much a pool + active filter setup, except someone was wearing as some sort of suit while watching TV.

  20. You know what's garbage? Being assigned to a garbage project. The current client I liked to work there has issues of acquiring projects and has budget cuts. Of course I'm the one to get kicked out as an extern. I'm not jobless I'm just frustrated.

  21. @scribus Oh please relax I am pretty sure that this place is forgiving and...

Oh wait, Twitter ? no, I am sorry, Pretty sure people have already dumped your address on the dark web & in search for an assassin, but the language barrier is just too great to overcome. I mean, who here speaks Czech ?

"But I do not live there"

I never told you it was the correct address.

  28. @mrmattimation "We have penetrated the mind of the stereotype Apple using Starbucks abusing user using artificial neural networking" would probably be a good Onion headline.

Then the comment section can be filled with people claiming to actually use these tools for something usefull, like http://codeparade.net/furry/

  29. @scribus Build a competetive drive, and the rest will come.

Including that solo indie game of your own.

Not to push you a certain direction, but I really like space :D

  30. @scribus What do you mean ? that is just training, theorycrafting, theorytesting, and putting it into action.

Also preparing about a month just for that event alone.

The biggest problem with YOU doing it is that you might not love those games as much as they do.

You know what CL4P-TP said in BL1... "I can see the code"
