@colfax I'd need a way to record it and I'd need the opportunity to practice saying it so I* can pronounce it right. I am primarily bothered by people mispronouncing the parts of it that are actually *easy to get right; I don't fault people for the parts of it that are actually difficult.

@ceruleanspark If my recollection is correct, that wasn't a case of no one being willing to take their place but rather them being unwilling to let someone take their place despite good candidates offering to do so. I remain thankful that situation was resolved in a way that allowed the site to continue under new leadership.

I see we're forgetting that this site is about as fringe as you can get in this fandom. We occupy a region of no importance to the fandom at large, and our success or failure is not in any fashion linked to the success or failure of the fandom itself.

@takemangoesakenji It's always bothered me that people claim it's complex. It's really not. All it is is time-consuming. Then again we're living in a time when anything that involves more than "put the disc in and click one thing" is seen as "complex" by most people. #sigh
