Should I even TRY to install Raring Ringtail ? Or would Knoppix ( or Damn Small Linux ) be a probable better choice ? ... The laptop itself is from around 1999 I guess. It is able to give me Internet and some openDDT. Which is pretty much all I ask. Next to USB support for Webcams and harddisks and a DVD recovery sector by sector tool.
