  9. @foxgopher there's where said restriction doesn't get enforced. I have a 5.000mi/year restriction, but people can easily say their odo doesn't work, and then what is the insurance company going to do? Make you put a lojack on it?

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 03:23:34 UTC from web in context
  10. @foxgopher id it works the same as my experience you set your value to the car and they charge you a lot less than what normal insurance would for blue book. Only downside is mileage restrictions.

  11. @foxgopher yeah not much a point in insuring a car if it's not moving; unless you don't trust where it sits. The bug definitely can get collectors insurance for the age. However, it might not work the same where you are.

  12. @foxgopher cripes that's an odd thought. One nice thing about opd cars is cheap insurance.

  13. @vt3c insane!

  14. The Avalon is 18 years old this month, and the Celica will be 30 in 2 months; almost as old as I!

  15. @vt3c love what this state does to the roads.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 03:05:10 UTC from web in context
  16. @vt3c or anywhere that has potholes, which is every bloody street. Blew out the avalon's struts on that apples.

  19. @vt3c wat'chu talkin bout it's spring

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 02:57:28 UTC from web in context
  20. @foxgopher you tackled a fuel pump; you're doing all right i'd say thus far.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 02:56:47 UTC from web in context
  21. @foxgopher oh yes, the down however is that due to working on cars i'm reluctant to work on mine own. Unless it's the celica. That thing's actually fun for tinkering.

  22. @foxgopher i grapesing hate power steering hoses on transverse-mounted engines. Struts are the major thing right now though; the rear sags. Not as much as say if the springs are broken but i notice it.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 02:49:40 UTC from web in context
  23. @foxgopher right rear strut is blown, left front strut leaks, the power steering is leaking worse than before. Might be developing a problem with a hydraulic engine mount too but that's unsure.

  24. @foxgopher well, at least the celica can be moved, and well right now it's far better off than the daily driver.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 02:42:57 UTC from web in context
  25. @foxgopher progress is slow. I have to move here pretty soon and the daily driver needs money grapesed into it.

  26. @mrmattimation you're american; it's ok.

  29. @foxgopher oh that's sucky. Some asshole jammed a key into the Celica's original; had a screwdriver to start it when i first bought it. http://rainbowdash.net/url/732486
