  1. @abigpony Well, you hadn't when I sent that. It is now much improved. :)

  2. @scribble Make sure to get the Ultimate edition, since it's so cheap - the DLCs are well worth an extra £3.25 at current discounted price.

  3. @purplephish20 Slightly lower in all but processor and graphics, but unfortunately those are what really count with games. Not too sure how that chipset fares, but its name doesn't fill me with confidence.

  4. @abigpony >not using it as your profile background

  5. @abigpony Watching this is like staring into your soul.

  6. @scribble Of those two, I would have to say NV. Especially because it's on a flash sale right now on Steam, though I much prefer it anyway.

  7. @purplephish20 It runs pretty great on my laptop, whereas Skyrim struggles, so... it might work? I think the console versions have a few less bugs patched out, but then _most_ of the game-breaking bugs were never present on consoles anyway, due to the lack of hardware variation making testing easier.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 09:02:06 UTC from web in context
  8. @scribble Not NV? NV is ~£7.50 right now for the version with all the DLC, and ~£3.25 for the base game. And they're both very good in their own ways, though NV is somewhat more technically polished, having come later.

  9. @thelastgherkin No. But still better than any temperature that falls between those two extremes.

  10. @sirbanalot Apparently. (Or more likely - I am tired and this type of "random" humour is funnier in that state.)

  11. I am watching some "cherries-duff moo-vee" or something. Apparently it is all of the rages.

  13. @redenchilada That reminds me, did I ever actually give you the size for mine (1366x768, if you don't already have it)?

  14. @darkw00d G'night!

Monday, 16-Jul-12 08:29:50 UTC from web in context
  15. @darkw00d Well, huh. That's kinda bothersome. Though if it was anything like the Android app - and it certainly looks the same - I suspect most people won't be sad to see it go.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 08:01:40 UTC from web in context
  17. @darkw00d I'm pretty sure there is one. (Also, that term is not really appropriate here, even meant in jest.)

  18. @renovatedkitchen DDR is for silly people, and ITG is for awesome people. (But really it's that ITG is much more easily modded for custom songs, since no hardware modification is needed.)

  19. @lyrica G'night!

  20. @renovatedkitchen Pretty much anything involving repetitive timing like that is just a case of having a sense of rhythm, and that can be improved with practice.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:54:57 UTC from web in context
  21. @redenchilada How rude.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:53:14 UTC from web in context
  22. @redenchilada But XBL has Crulan and Borderlands (well, Borderlands is also on PC, but the co-op is same-platform-only). D:

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:51:55 UTC from web in context
  23. @redenchilada Ooh, so that particular point is the other way round to what I mistakenly thought it was. This complicates the decision somewhat. :/

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:50:03 UTC from web in context
  24. @redenchilada Also isn't PSN a paid thing, whereas the basic level of Xbox Live isn't?

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:48:03 UTC from web in context
  25. @redenchilada But I don't know of any games I'd like that are on PS3 but not also on PC.

  26. @renovatedkitchen The dance pad is on the floor. He is still on the floor, just with a thin layer in the way. (It's like how you wouldn't say someone's standing on the carpet unless you wanted to draw attention specifically to the carpet.)

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:45:38 UTC from web in context
  27. @renovatedkitchen That's a lot. And for what it's worth, I do think I'll probably get a console at some point before the end of this generation. A 360's looking like the most appealing option if I do.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:43:54 UTC from web in context
  28. @renovatedkitchen He's a maniac, maniac on the floor.

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:42:05 UTC from web in context
  29. @renovatedkitchen I find the best solution for stress is exploding heads in whatever shoot-y game I'm currently interested in. :)

Monday, 16-Jul-12 07:41:46 UTC from web in context
  30. @renovatedkitchen Pretty much, yeah. Neither is definitively better, except insofar as it caters to the tastes of the individual buyer.
