@toksyuryel Well, the messy approach would be to have each segment be linked to a set of logic gates that implement tests (like, top segment on if the total can't be 1 or 4), but I'm sure there's a more compact, albeit probably less intuitive, approach.

@thelastgherkin Hamburger?
-
@ceruleanspark I like how an image link of any form isn't permissible either.
-
@toksyuryel Neh, it's not really something I need or want, it was just an idea I was entertaining temporarily. I have plenty enough redstone for my more normal projects. :)
-
@mushi You're right, that is kinda weird. Well, not for RPGs, that's kinda the norm. But still weird once you stop to think about it.
-
@mushi ?
-
@toksyuryel Considering how much free space there is in that chasm under my house, I have been pondering making a huge binary counter array to see how many times my doors have been toggled since I was last on. That'd need far more redstone than I have, though. :P
-
@ceruleanspark I wonder how many levels of indirection they still consider to be a link? 'cos right now I have a link from my reblog to your original post, which in turn links to the ponyspin page, which in turn links to them. :D
-
@toksyuryel The D is super-neat too, but like you said, _way_ more complicated than my doors need. :)
-
@ceruleanspark That page is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
-
@toksyuryel 'course, it makes the whole design _longer_, but when there are several points in it where the redstone can go around a corner without issues, that's no big problem.
-
@toksyuryel Also, turning the piston on its side reduces the gravity delay (no need for sand/gravel any more) _and_ stops it turning into a bud switch. :P
-
@thelastgherkin That's not blush, it's pink that wasn't completely covered up.
-
@toksyuryel Heh, it's actually pretty amazing how resilient that T Flip-Flop design is to turning at various points. Kinda annoying that it requires a slime ball for the sticky piston (only needing the regular sort was one plus of the bulky design I used before), but it's pretty nice to have it take less space _and_ operate near-instantly (give or take server-side lag).
-
@redenchilada Gotta go Thrashin'.
-
Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the !Minecraft server?
-
@redenchilada Ohhh. Now it makes sense.
-
@abigpony Well, it continues to be stupid. That and I didn't see the other post(s).
-
@omni That's not the best MINAC, this is: http://ur1.ca/9s33z
-
"Do you know you have your own YouTube Channel?" <sarcasm>Nope, and I've always wondered what on earth I was uploading my handful of videos to.</sarcasm> http://ur1.ca/9s32h
-
@cavatina I was about to say "what about the Nostromo?", but then I remembered that it's actually Belkin that make that, Razer just slap their brand on it.
-
@widget http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgKivEFxdEg probably isn't quite classical enough, but... well, I like it.
-
@scribus Eh, the jaggedy edges fit quite well for the subject at hand. :)
-
@fortecanter Your profile background disturbs me.
-
@toksyuryel I concur. http://ur1.ca/9s30x
-
@ceruleanspark Tempting, but 1) I have no money, 2) even if I persuaded someone to get it for me, I'll wait to see if it becomes a daily/flash deal first.
-
@scribble Eh, it still looks just fine. More a point to consider if you want, not something it needs. :)
-
@scribble It's pretty cool, but if you're going for total accuracy, the PipBoy(/Buck) UI has one solid shape for the character - so for example, no dividing line between body and leg or at the point where the two legs intersect.
-
@ceruleanspark MANY MOONS HAVE PASSED SINCE THE WORMS WENT TO WAR
-
@ceruleanspark Best Worms game, bar none. If only it was on Steam. :(
