  1. @redenchilada $600 (or rather, £390 which converts to nearly the same) this year, and runs the same things just as well. Couldn't be happier with it. :3

  2. @techdisk42 At a guess, probably the most demanding is either Borderlands or New Vegas. The first works just fine with no changes, the second works with a small drop in settings; and that drop in settings isn't big enough to negatively affect my experience. Like I said, I don't see why I'd need anything drastically more except maybe for hardcore, newly-released AAA-title gaming. And if I really wanted that, I've still got my desktop available.

  3. @widget Maybe, but if this is sucking at gaming, then sucking at gaming is still good enough for me. :/

  4. @techdisk42 Wait, the HD 3000 sucks for gaming? I guess somebody forgot to tell mine, 'cos I've had no problem with anything I've thrown at it. :3

  27. Also, since there's voting this year for what should go on flash sales, keep an eye on that - you might be able to increase your chances of a game you want getting cheap. !vgp

  29. I feel like I should point out the trick to saving the maximum amount on Steam sales, just in case anybody still didn't know it: never buy something unless it's a daily deal, a flash deal, or the last day of the sale. Anything else leaves you open to the possibility of the game you bought becoming cheaper on a daily/flash deal later. !vgp

  30. @nerthos Agreed on Fluttershy being easy to play - I think it's the flight (easiest means of movement) combined with the powerful striking attack that AJ does so well, except actually attacking in the same direction she's facing (seriously, how hard would it have been to animate a turn for AJ).
