@bonesbones I'm going to let you in on a tragic human truth- we will never truly understand each other fully and how we're feeling. We can only convey expressions of ourselves through speech and action, but something will always be lost in translation. Jacques Derrida once wrote "Il n’y a pas de hors-texte" which is in English loosely means "There is no outside text" and I feel that's applicable here. Everything we grow to understand about each other is through unreliable perceptions of vague expressions, every time we choose to love someone we are deliberately making ourselves vulnerable. But love will always be a necessary step, because for all the people who will hurt you and lie to you and manipulate you and make you feel like the worst person alive, someone out there is genuinely looking to love back. Honest relationships are difficult two way conversations and not all of them will turn out okay but I want you to know I BELIEVE IN YOU, QUINN. You're a good kid, don't give up hope.
