@bobo *too
-
@northernnarwhal I will, if I don't finish it to quickly and start crying instead.
-
@northernnarwhal I'm going to go play SotC, maybe listen to some music, I'll be back to screw around sometime.
-
@northernnarwhal I need to get on ICO, as well. Last Guardian hype. #Iloveyoubirddog
-
@bobo Shout to my boys at http://rpcs3.net/
-
@redenchilada There is one that can boot into a lot of menus, run a few games at like, 2fps, and the only game that can hit 60fps in-game running perfectly is Sonic CD.
-
@northernnarwhal I quit TF2 a year back, (the community just wasn't the same) though the hours I have put into TF2 are rivaled only by the hours I have put into various Animal Crossing iterations. Speaking of PS3 emulators, the only non-fraudulent one is RPCS3, which is in pre-alpha. It can currently run Sonic CD at 60fps, and it is being developed for both Windows and Linux, which is rad, because emulators usually have to wait for ports to Mac/Linux.

@northernnarwhal Psychonauts is a beautiful game. It holds a special place in my heart as the first game I ever rented. I saw some promotional material out in a rental store once and it convinced me to pester my parents about it. Cave Story is a game I've never beaten, though have played across many iterations, but my friend has beaten a lot of versions of it. SoTC makes me sad, but I have the PS3 remaster that came with ICO and still have not beaten either one of them. I really need to play Mother 3.
-
@northernnarwhal I have not played Demon's Souls, so I can not give any feedback on that. I prefer PC, (due to relative ease of *alternate video game attainment*) and have not had the time to chase down a second hand copy of the game.
-
@northernnarwhal My all time favorite game is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain; it has not been released yet, and therefore I have not played it, but I can tell. I recently watched the E3 2015 demo and from that, I know that my enjoyment of that game will be immense. I have played Ground Zeroes, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and frequently speedrun. My PB is 8:14, A Rank.
-
@bobo *Dark Souls 1
-
@bobo Of course, that would imply Dark Souls one had intense difficulty, which is subjective, but you catch my drift, I'm sure.
-
@northernnarwhal Oh, I misspoke, "I favored Dark Souls 2's lack of intense difficulty," would have prevented misunderstanding. I prefer Dark Souls 1 over the others, as well.
-
@bobo I'm talking in short essays again.
-
@northernnarwhal I liked Dark Souls 1, but I never got past Lagville (you know where I'm talking about) due to new game releases during my playtime. I favored Dark Souls 2's difficulty, and I heard it was comparable to Bloodborne's. I like difficult games, I even speedrun Super Meat Boy from time to time, but I need a game I can sit down and relax with. I still like challenge, but it doesn't have to give way to insane punishment. I never thought loss of Souls was a huge punishment, though more of a slap on the wrist, because you could either spend them before a tough boss fight or grind them before/after death/a boss fight.
-
Anyway, should I buy Bloodborne? Actually, before I ask that, have I ever said I have bought Bloodborne in my post history? I'm all for contradicting myself, anyway.
-
@northernnarwhal The MPAA rates movies on an inconsistent basis, but point taken.
-
@northernnarwhal My dank maymays strike again.
-
@bobo I couldn't even get the source image without running into a Callie-scrub.
-
Oh, I'm due for another avatar, though it's still going to be Marie, cuz she is bae.
-
@northernnarwhal The phobia is real, I was just making fun of it. Shout-out to all those Mortuusequusphobics, though, be strong.
-
@northernnarwhal Eh, I used to fear it when I was younger, but now it's more of a distaste. Jokes, amirite?
-
@northernnarwhal Apparently, my fear is a real phobia: Mortuusequusphobia, the abnormal fear of ketchup. #thestruggleisreal
-
@thelastgherkin If Tiny Tina has taught me anything...I guess?
-
@northernnarwhal I'm on the opposing side; I hate ketchup, but tomatoes are great. I suppose that's more of a personal thing, though, because I don't like ketchup because my sister used to spread it on my face when I was an infant.
-
@bobo Almonds are pretty good too, especially glazed, with cinnamon. ...I really like cinnamon.
-
@bobo If we're talking about nuts though, peanuts are crunnnnk.
-
@thelastgherkin I just had bacon-wrapped cinnamon toast, don't know why I didn't go the extra mile to add chocolate spread on it.
-
Hope you guys had fun getting ink all over little girls; I don't have that game anymore, so I'm a sad panda.
