I just remembered when I had Hermit crabs as pets. I kept them in a small plastic box filled with black sand, a sponge for them to drink, uncooked oatmeal because damn those little things loved them and a coconut for them to sleep upside down in because for some reason the loved to sleep upside down.

@awlderpy From what I remember they get their shells all close and whatnot and the female enters the male's shell and then the start to do things.
