  1. Alright, that's enough lurking. I don't care if I don't have anything interesting to say, I'm gonna make my presence known anyway, damn it. So, hi. What's going on?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 09:59:56 UTC from web
    1. @flaxx Everything, now that you're talking! Also, hi.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:01:01 UTC from web
      1. @fallinwinter Everything? Oh my, that's quite a lot. How did I manage to cause that?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:04:55 UTC from web
        1. @flaxx By the power of your imagination. With it, you can do anything you set your mind to. Even altercations of the fabric of time. I really don't know where this is going.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:06:30 UTC from web
          1. @fallinwinter Me neither. Well, it was interesting anyway, so thank you. Now if I only had some imagination at my disposal. >.<

    2. @flaxx @macpony55 Hi there the two of you :D

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:01:50 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Hello there, what's up?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:05:04 UTC from web
        1. @flaxx Nothing much really, @greydragon412 is drawing rarity

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:05:42 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos Ah, sweet. Rarity in winter clothes, right? That's awesome.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:07:12 UTC from web
    3. @flaxx Hay! how are you getting on?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:07:14 UTC from web
      1. @pawnheart Me? Oh, just fine. Think I'm gonna play some DDO, and then we'll see. Might draw a bit later. ^_^ You?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:09:27 UTC from web
        1. @flaxx good to hear! Doing okay thanks... hoping to get a bit further in the songwriting stakes. DDO?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:12:21 UTC from web
          1. @pawnheart Ah, nice. I tried to write something today too, and it went pretty meh. Apparently the only time I can rhyme anything is around 2 am, and then I'm too tired to make it make sense. >.> Also, Dungeons & Dragons Online. :3

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:17:00 UTC from web
            1. @flaxx Cool! What do you play btw? and I'm pretty weak at lyrics too... Ah! D & D... never actually tried it, either online or tabletop. I tried my hand at Warhammer when I was younger, but I found it quite confusing!

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:25:21 UTC from web
              1. @pawnheart Well, the only instrument I play at all is guitar, but I suck pretty badly. All I write is some random raps here and there that don't make any sense whatsoever. >.> They're fun to write, though. And yeah, I've never tried "real" D&D either. Only D&D stuff I've ever tried is DDO, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Baldur's Gate II. Oh, and yeah, I did a tiny bit of Warhammer 40k, but never really got into it.

                1. @flaxx DnD is pretty fun. As long as someone knows the game well and can come up with a good story, it's a pretty fun time.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:32:28 UTC from web
                  1. @fallinwinter Stay away from pre-made campaings. But if you find a good DM... The fun will be doubled, tripled, and more.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:33:42 UTC from web
                  2. @fallinwinter Yeah, I'd love to try it sometime. But I don't have anyone to play with, and I have no idea how to start on my own. :/

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:34:03 UTC from web
                    1. @flaxx I admit that it's awfully technical sometimes, but depending on how lax your group wants to be, you can forgo some of the details. Perhaps Wushu would be a good starting point. It's definitely easier I'd say.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:35:59 UTC from web
                      1. @fallinwinter Well, I do know a little bit of how the system works and everything, so I'm not completely lost, but I'd really need someone who knows more about it to teach me. Also, Wushu?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:37:24 UTC from web
                        1. @flaxx I can't say I'm really well versed, but I do know the gist of how the 2nd ED and 3.5ED rules work (and a bit of the 4thED) Wushu is a less technical and easier to start up game. It depends more on description and simple stats rather than really complex stat tables.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:39:52 UTC from web
                          1. @fallinwinter AD&D 2.0 is more "fair", 3.5 and 4.0 are too arbitrary. But it always depends on the DM.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:41:44 UTC from web
                          2. @fallinwinter Oh, okay. Perhaps I should check that out sometime. ^_^

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:44:20 UTC from web
                    2. @flaxx I will master a campaign here some day, feel free to join if you like.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:37:19 UTC from web
                      1. @nerthos Really? That'd be awesome! But uhm... how would that work?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:37:59 UTC from web
                        1. @flaxx Mostly based in trust. It can be done via livestream, but i'm better at writing so i think IRC. Then virtual dice roller http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:39:47 UTC from web
                          1. @nerthos Hmm, I honestly might be interested. Would it be a regular campaign or would you be ponifying it? Also what edition?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:41:08 UTC from web
                            1. @fallinwinter A normal campaing. I don't think a pony archer would work, for example. Still it's only a idea yet, i don't know when i'm doing it. I'm used to 2.0, but i could learn 3.5 too.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:43:18 UTC from web
                              1. @nerthos I know both though only as a player. 3.5 is less complicated in my opinion and more streamlined while 2.0 is more complex but allows more customization. Do you play 2.0 with the players options?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:45:14 UTC from web
                                1. @fallinwinter I ussually play a modified 2.0, with extended tables to work with levels 1-40. But i would be using the base system so everypony could understand it easily.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:46:53 UTC from web
                                  1. @nerthos are you gonna do a pony rpg?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:47:51 UTC from web
                                    1. @mushi Ponyfing it would make it a bit confusing. But if everypony asks for it, i could make it pony-oriented.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:51:01 UTC from web
                                  2. @flaxx Yeah, it's easy to start and you can make it about anything with any setting. Honestly ponifying it would be pretty easy. Maybe we should try running one of these too.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:48:02 UTC from web
                                    1. @fallinwinter Yeah, that sounds awesome! :D Wait, didn't somepony make a pony version of D&D a while back?

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:50:33 UTC from web
                                      1. @flaxx There's a whole lot of ponified tabletop game mechanics people have come out with, Wushu wouldn't need conversions though. It's character creation and system are open enough that you can make it about anything.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:52:28 UTC from web
                                        1. @fallinwinter Ah, sweet. Well, we should try it sometime!

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:53:18 UTC from web
                                          1. @flaxx I'd enjoy that, I'd be willing to play if someone was willing to be DM for it. I would try, but I couldn't promise how well the story'd turn out.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:56:14 UTC from web
                                            1. @fallinwinter Well, I can promise you it'd be better than if I tried. >.>

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:59:38 UTC from web
                                              1. @flaxx Hmm, well I suppose if others are willing to try I could figure something out. Dunno where we'd carry it out, but It'd be a new experience.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:01:49 UTC from web
                                                1. @fallinwinter Yeah, of course. If you decide to throw something together, let me know and I'll join in if I can. ^_^

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:03:39 UTC from web
                                                  1. @flaxx Hmm, well I'd probably need to garner the interest of a few more people, at least 2 -3 more although 1 more is possible. After that it'd just be the matter of when.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:05:49 UTC from web
                                                    1. @fallinwinter Well, I'm totally in if we ever do it. It'd be awesome. :3

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:13:27 UTC from web
                                                      1. @flaxx It would be awesome. Now I've got a plot forming in my head. Man, we need more ponies.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:16:39 UTC from web
                                                        1. @fallinwinter Well, you could always make a group about it and ask @ceruleanspark to mention it in one of his posts. That way it'll surely end up among the popular notices. :P

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:19:26 UTC from web
                                                          1. @flaxx Hmm, well when I finish a few things and am able to work out a better idea of a plot, that seems like a good method. Look forward to it! ^_^

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:22:15 UTC from web
                                                            1. @fallinwinter Yay, awesome! So do I! :D

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 11:24:13 UTC from web
                                  3. @nerthos Ah, just curious since I'm playing with the players options now in a friends campaign. It takes more effort (and books) but I do enjoy the customization the character points give.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:49:28 UTC from web
                          2. @nerthos Yeah, I think I'd prefer writing as well. Otherwise I'd just screw up even more than I probably will. >.> But yeah, it would be great if I could join in.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:41:37 UTC from web
                2. @flaxx If you enjoy writing them... that can be infectious! Worth keeping a record of.

Saturday, 29-Oct-11 10:33:13 UTC from web
                  1. @pawnheart Well, I do save pretty much everything I write and read it the next day and chuckle at the randomness. 8D
