    Never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but all the hype over Skyrim has gotten me interested. I'm gonna have to watch a lets play or something. Might get it for Christmas.

      @flutterguy93 If you enjoy getting a quest and trying to finish it and then suddenly wondering why you're possibly miles away from where the objective is having been completely distracted by either scenery/enemies/dragons/another quest/etc. then it's the game for you.

        @fallinwinter from what I've heard I would guess it's like a Zelda game, but like 10x larger in every way.

          @flutterguy93 Not really. More of a medieval simulation/sandbox game with RPG elements thrown in.

            @fallinwinter I see. Perhaps it's about time I got into RPG games. Only one I ever played was FFX and never even completed it. I'll definitely consider it.

              @flutterguy93 Well if anything as long as you enjoy exploring it'll definitely take you a while. Depending on what difficulty you play on, it can pretty much be about survival or it can be about story/exploring or both. I'd say a let's play would be a good place to start and decide.
