@fallinwinter My ex left because she was "bored," but she always seemed to want to visit again. Now she wants to live in New York and be a writer (I guess?) so I think getting her the Sex & The City box set was a bad idea...

@scribus True there's not too much to do if you're not into staying at home, or doing outdoorsy stuff. I don't know if I want to leave honestly. I enjoy how laid back it is here and I don't know how well I'd handle being on the mainland.

@scribus I did go camping once for a club outing thing. It was actually pretty fun even though I usually act like Rarity in the outdoors.

@fallinwinter heh To each their own. My ex said she wanted to do backpacking, but required an air mattress to camp. I would so have made her carry that crap if we ever tried to backpack.

@scribus Hah, I would probably be just as bad. I don't mind roaming the outdoors all adventurous-like, but I like to have a hot shower and a bed without bugs when I go to bed.

@scribus I can't understand why someone would have a permanent picture on the skin. It surely get boring after a while or you regret it completely immideately going out the tattoo shop.

@broniebrown It's got a few layers of significance to me. It's a crab, which live there so it's a souvineer thing. I'm a Cancer, so there's that. And my dad used to work on a crab boat, so there's that, too.

@scribus Late response time. It seems like tatoos are a girl's thing. Shame on all those bikers. Also, Why would someone <65 years old need a matress to camp? Just build the tent in a flat area of grass. If that's not enough, put leaves under it.
