So, ponies of RDN, should I keep playing Zelda or should I watch Akira?

@redstreak If making one wouldn't wake up the whole house, I would.
-
@yodelerty Zelda because I have no idea what Akira is.
-
@thetwilitebrony0vinylscratchrecollor It's an anime film from the '80s. It's fantastic, so I definitely recommend giving it a watch.
-
@yodelerty use a dish rag to muffle the sound of the blender
-
@yodelerty Anime? (I pronounce that AN-IME-as in time-) Sounds like I might watch it.
-
@redstreak And I'm out of ice cream.
-
@thetwilitebrony0vinylscratchrecollor I think it may be "Annie-May", and "Anna-May" might also be correct.
-
@thetwilitebrony0vinylscratchrecollor You should. I dislike anime, but I adore this film.
-
@patch Hey, I haven't seen you for a bit. How's it going?
-
@yodelerty it officially sucks to be you
-
@yodelerty I had a Naruto thing a while ago, even though I hate it.
-
@patch I know.
-
@thetwilitebrony0vinylscratchrecollor Roger that. :)
-
@yodelerty Goin' good? How's you? Also, Akira. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I can see why it was so influential. And when I first saw it, back when there were Russians, I was like: http://imgcache.ifans.com/forums/imgcache3/eeedd03c9ec6701049dbeff4464320ff.png?orig_url=http://troll.me/images/bert/mind-blown.jpg

@redstreak But I have pizza.
-
@thetwilitebrony0vinylscratchrecollor Ew, Naruto.
-
@yodelerty EAT IT BEFORE IT RUNS AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!
-
@yodelerty I don't care much for the show, but I enjoyed the fighting mechanics in its most recent console game.
-
@patch I'm doing pretty well! I'm in space, and everything. And I can see people not liking Akira, especially given the fact that it's really f***ed up. I personally love it, though. My reaction after seeing it on TV the first time: http://ur1.ca/7b49l
-
@redstreak But I'm not hungry! D:
-
@yodelerty I know.
-
@fallinwinter I've played two Naruto games before (I don't remember which ones) and I remember them being really fun. The show, on the other hand... eh...
-
@yodelerty oh, well dont eat it then
-
@yodelerty I dunno about the setting and stuff, it doesnt seem like my kinda thing. Do you mean messed up as in like mind buck?
-
@yodelerty Spaaaace! And ditto. I think thats where much of its reputation comes from--it was different, fairly well-executed, and for a lot of us, the highest quality of animation we had seen at the time it came out.
-
@fallinwinter No, I mean it's really weird. Everything about it screams weird and creepy.
-
@redstreak But if I don't, it'll run away! D:
-
@patch Yeah, but I wasn't alive when it came out. >.>
-
@yodelerty Eh, probably wouldnt keep me interested personally. I usually have polar opposites when it comes to what I enjoy watching/reading.
-
@yodelerty Really, why not?
-
@fallinwinter Fair enough.
-
@patch Because I wasn't alive yet? <_>
-
@yodelerty Well from what story I encountered while playing that Naruto game, it just seemed so-so. Awful lot of drama.
-
@yodelerty Well, geez, if you've got something against being alive, who am I to argue? ;)
-
@fallinwinter Naruto and Akira aren't really similar in that aspect.
-
@patch I have NOTHING against being alive! It's just that I conveniently wasn't at the release of this film. >.>
-
@yodelerty Oh, well, isn't that convenient for you, hmm? Makes a great alibi, doesn't it?
-
@patch WHO TOLD YOU
-
@yodelerty I wasn't trying to say they were. There was just an awful lot of- "*gasp* X person died! They were my (family/friend/etc.)" Each and every chapter of the game had something similar to this.
-
@fallinwinter Oh, OK. I haven't seen Akira in a while, but I don't recall too much of that.
