@cavatina I learned a few interesting things about gender and sexuality in my English course (because studying english lends itself to those topics) including the fact that gender and physical appearance weren't always thought of as the same thing, I prefer this system. You are who you feel you are, no-one should tell you otherwise and if they do then they are wrong

@cavatina Yeah, too much stress is put on gender as a part of 'who you are' when really it doesn't change the person themselves all that much. I had a similar conversation here a few days ago. I think it is getting better though, when you look at how sexuality and gender were viewed a hundred or so years ago today is far more open about it, but it would be much nicer if those kind of traits weren't considered so disproportionaly important in today's society
