and before someone sends me #leavingthefandom I'm saying that in a decades time "Bronies" as a group distinct from "Furries" won't be a thing anymore. It'll be like the starfox fandom, internally independent, but composed entirely of members of another, larger fandom.

@pony I am saying that the largest density of Starfox fans exists within the furry fandom, because it's the only place still producing any media at all featuring the characters.

@pony It's not so much that they're "inside" so much as any meaningful difference between the two groups is eroded until they are essentially one big group

@ceruleanspark I think the fandom has more than a decade before that happens based on my experience with the PPG fandom, but I can see the two becoming much closer over perhaps 2 decades

@pony Once the musicians aren't getting their egos stroked by enough people, and once the cloppers realise the furries have better horseporn, 2/3rds of the fandom will evaporate.

@ceruleanspark do they have better horseporn now? All the furry stuff I've seen looks simply unappealing to me, maybe because anthros have rarely been my cup of tea. I think my last real anthro crush was Maid Marian unless Mrs. Brisby or counts..
