Anypony know of any somewhat modern mech games? Preferably not MechWarrior 4, MechAssault or Armored Core 5, not up for the first two and already have the third. Ever since I saw Hawken I've had to biggest urge to mech all over everything >_>

@abigpony Never played the first, but I have played 2-5. I hear 5 is like 1 though, in that it's more tactical and that the ACs are 5 meters tall instead of 10.

@communistprime There were alot of size variants and stuff. I just remember walking along a freeway and getting mauled by, like, 4 or so larger mechs. Ina ll honesty, it's pretty much the only mech game I have played on console.

@abigpony Front Mission was a lot of fun...not the Evolved one, but the classics. MechAssault was interesting, a nice faster-paced game in the BattleTech universe. Looking forward to Hawken and MechWarrior Online so much...

@communistprime I... don't like mech games. They're too bulky to be any fun and the enjoyment I can get from firing missiles and stuff is ruined because they are either OP or unrealistically crappy. To each their own, though. Just not my type of game.
