        @awl Rome was cool but it was too rough and ignorant for my tastes. They had great engineers and thinkers, sure, but most of them were fairly dumb and uneducated. Plus they favoured practicity above anything, whilst Egyptians erected great works for the sake of worship and decoration.

          @nerthos latins piggybacked a lot from greek civilisation. What i love about egyptian civilisation is that every part of it was it's own; architecture, art, structure, even the language was unlike anything around it (although technically semitic).
