        @metaltao Yeah, I could make a helmet like that, but it'd be really bulky and heavy, not to mention restrictive, so it wouldn't really be practical.

            @metaltao I'd have to get a thick piece of wood, cut and file it to make it round, and then hammer the metal on it to give it the proper shape, but yes, I could. I might do it, if I can find someone willing to buy.

                @metaltao IDK, I'd have to first check prices on the materials and do a rough calculation on hours of work/difficulty of the job. It won't be cheap though, that's for sure.

                    @metaltao By "It won't be cheap" I mean it'll be more expensive than some regular cosplay headpiece, but still it'd be cheaper than what many MLP plushies go for. Somewhere around $300 I think?

                        @metaltao Armor isn't /inexpensive/, plus helmets are usually the hardest part to make. Following a particular design is even harder. So it'd cost anywhere from $200 to $500.

                                    @metaltao Yeah. I just need the tools to work with tough materials. Titanium for example isn't too expensive. It's somewhere around 15-25 bucks a kilo. The issue with those materials is that you need industrial equipment to work them, you can't do it in your garage like you can with cold-shaped steel.
