    It seems the surface area of my torso is roughly 6.5 sq ft. I am roughly 6.5 feet tall. I wonder if this is common?

            @metaltao Seriolusly, though, as an American I really do wish we'd switch over and not only speak in the same terms as the rest of the world, but use the system that isn't batsqueak nutty.
