  1. So earlier today I found an old blank CD in my basement. It was still in perfect condition though, so I burned some Lightning Bolt onto it and am now blasting the apples out of it using my home speaker system. This is insane.

    1. @northernnarwhal I have an overabundance of blank CD-Rs and a whole stack of CD-RWs that I really have almost no use for. I bought em all because I was doing a project in high school about the quality of CD brands. (if only the PS1 could play CD-RWs...)

      1. @techdisk Ain't that what the modchip is for?

        1. @redenchilada yes. But the laser physically cannot read CD-RWs. Only CD-Rs. (which I have a ton of, but still. One time use.)

      2. @techdisk I think I might buy some to burn my favourite albums onto that are hard to find in CD form.

        1. @northernnarwhal I already burned Minecraft Volume Alpha to CD because I wanted to play it on a good CD player (because damn its relaxing). Of course I only have the compressed iTunes files so it kinda defeats the purpose...

          1. @techdisk Contrarily I burned Lightning Bolt onto the CD I found because they're loud as murdock and the bass on my home theater system is amazing.

            1. @northernnarwhal My audio system consists of a first generation PS1 connected to some decent Altec Lancing computer speakers.
