@metaltao I use abbreviations to make it all fit on a little card. It is more a help to remember all the stuff.

@metaltao I read this. It doesn't fit into the existing D&D core rules with the introduction of new ability scores. Also after a first glance it seemed unbalanced and unfinished.

@nerthos It can be more condensed but it is meant to be designed that each power gets its own card. In my opinion it is quite handy this way. You know what you can do, which powers are expended, and you can prepare your next turn a bit better. Written all the stuff on the cards don't make you look up in the books so often, which is always a huge plus.

@broniebrown So basically cards now take the place of what used to be skill/spell pages written on regular paper

@nerthos You can still make that your way. I think cards are more useful in the action. (Also these cards you see are hand-made)

@broniebrown In truth, cards seem like a better option. I may make some of those adapted to the systems I usually play and print a bunch to keep things more organized.

@nerthos Yeah. I also play a wizard and as a wizard you have to prepare spells from the spellbook. With the card system you can put all the not needed powers away until the next extended rest. Less clutter!

@broniebrown I can see how it can be useful. So far I haven't played a wizard. I have played a sorcerer though in a campaign that allowed characters to have epic backgrounds so instead of memorized spells I had a bunch of points recharged each rest to cast spells, each spell having a cost based on level. I can cast less spells but in exchange I get the chance to use any of the known spells at any time, and by progressing in the character's personal storyline I get more points so if the character doesn't die early, cast limit won't be an issue.

@broniebrown The scaling makes up for it anyway, considering the final boss of the campaign is an actual god. The party has a female highborn (and thus reserved and kinda chaste) bard, an elven sword dancer who behaves like a dwarven berserker, a lawful good knight with lycanthropy, and a sealed demon sorcerer disguised as a man as he tries to undo the seal. DM is kind of a sadist so regardless of numbers he'll try his best to make things hard.
