    Given that the Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, does it make sense to divide it into octants, or do quadrants suffice?

      @scribus I think quadrants would assume some sort of... default second dimension. I think octants would be better for that sort of 3D disoriented space.

      @scribus Oh, although looking it up, I guess a spiral galaxy is a flat disc anyway, so maybe not.

        @thelastgherkin Yeah, that's what prompted me to ask. Then I decided the entire galaxy is way too much anyway so I'm just going with octants of Unified space.
