              @hawloween I have two Mosin-Nagant M91/30 rifles that were built during WWII. I am pleased to know that these rifles probably killed some Nazis. :)

                @m14brony I still would like to own/shoot German guns from those days, mostly a Gewehr 43 and and a Fallischirmjägergewehr 42. The Gewehr 43 to see what their idea was of a balanced markmsan rifle, and the FG42 because automatic rifles are cool.

                  @hawloween Unfortunately, G43's tend to fetch a price tag of US $3000+ these days, so it is questionable if I will ever own one. SMG Guns makes a semi-auto FG42 clone, but one of them costs US $4995. :(

                  I have an M1 Garand, but it is a postwar rifle (built in the 1950's, judging from its high serial number).

                  I would like to get my hands on an SVT-40 as well.

                    @m14brony The rarity of the rifles is part of what piques my curiosity, but with the FG42 it's mostly because it's an automatic 8mm Mauser.
