    Finished "Dexter in the Dark", and pretty glad they didn't put the exact storyline of it into the show, I might have stopped watching it as it got to a surrealistic point that wouldn't have translated well. Let's see where Dexter as a character goes in the next book.

      @awl The first season of the show is based off of the first book besides the fact that Brian doesn't die in the books but other than that the books and TV series both go in completely different directions.
