    I remember during the Iowa primaries, the BBC had reported over it on radio and the host referred to Clinton as "the establishment favourite".

    Now that rather shows the difference between "establisment" and "the people" if the primaries have real salt to them.

          @awl nope, she still has them. Because the Democratic Party is brilliant, they decided that a handpicked group of people they like would get supervotes in the nomination process. Because who cares what the people want?

              @awl the superdelegates can change their vote, but if it's a close race and the decision comes down to whoever gets the superdelegates, I'd bet anything they'd stick with Hillary. the DNC is basically a SuperPAC for Clinton

                  @awl I'd say I was glad Bush is floundering, but (and as much as it pains me to say this), I'd much rather have a third Bush than a nut like Trump or Cruz.

                    @rarity Yeah, I would have to agree with you there on both counts. Sometimes having politicians in your family makes you a more capable one, or at least not a loud-mouth playing the racist on mass media.

                      @awl plus, we know that good ol' JEB! is much more of a weenie than his dad or brother, so one could hope we wouldn't have a ground war during his term. Although the way Obama does war isn't much better
