  1. So I went to go see Jersey Boys in DC, right? It was me, Andrew, his sister, and his grandmother. We took Andrew's grandma's van because it's got a wheelchair ramp. Drive's pretty smooth, we get into the city just fine. We let out Andrew's grandma and his sister out in front of the theatre so they could get their seats while we went to find parking. Lo and behold, we found an empty handicapped spot on the first floor of the garage. Just our luck, right? We park, we start walking out.

    1. Then the guy running the garage, this Indian guy in his 40s or 50s, he starts yelling at us. "You cannot park here," he says, and we're like "Why not?" and he says "You need to be in a wheelchair." Now, the van has all the necessary requirements. It's got the sticker on the license plate, it's got the card in the mirror, we even had the documentation if necessary, and a ramp that we could pull out to show him that somebody with a wheelchair uses this car. He says he doesn't care. Neither he or I are in wheelchairs, therefore we have no need of a handicapped spot, therefore we need to get our car and move it or else he'll tow it.

      1. We tell this guy that we have a 90 year old lady with us who cannot walk and does in fact use a wheelchair. He doesn't believe us. We argue with this guy for like five minutes about whether or not we have legal right to park in this handicapped spot (which we do, there's a sticker on the license plate that says so). Every time we give an argument, he says "I do not care, neither of you use a wheelchair". Eventually, he says "if your grandmother really exists (??????) then I will see her here after the show." I think he just got tired of arguing with us. We left, saw our show, came back, got the van, and drove back home. We never saw him again. papaya that guy.

        1. @mrmattimation I think I met that dude's brother. Told me he was the official lot for the club I was going to a metal show at, charged me twenty bucks to park. Got half a block further, found the official free valet for the club, marched back and demanded my car and my money. Words were had. Money and vehicle were retrieved. I don't remember why this relates.
