  1. This is what I'm going to end up looking like if I don't find a job or some source of steady entertainment or income in the next month. http://is.gd/58Bpr7

      1. @abigpony True enough. But, I do need a job still. ._. I can't be broke and dependent like this anymore.

        1. @alptraummond money is overrated.

    2. @alptraummond I like how it's a choice between entertainment OR an income, and that you'd be fine with just one or the other.

      1. @toksyuryel I'm a very confused pony at the moment. D: I just don't know what I want exactly.

        1. @alptraummond Acquire money and you can acquire entertainment

          1. @mrdragon That's what I'm thinking of too. I just hope that if I apply to somewhere, I can actually get a job there.

            1. @alptraummond You'll have an easier time then if you were trying in the UK that's for sure

              1. @mrdragon It's pretty bad over here too.

                1. @alptraummond people need spending power > govt forces min. wage increase > publicly owned companies respond with layoffs and cut in hours and benefits for those still employed > companies advertise openings but want 3-5 years min. experience causing catch 22

                  1. @crusader8 Yep. And that's part of the reason I don't think I'm going to get hired. If I don't, screw it. I'll just volunteer somewhere.

                  2. @crusader8 Everybody seems to want 18 year olds with 20 years of experience. It's so frustrating that you can't get a job without experience, but therefore can't get any experience... Oh well, more studying, push the issue a few years back~

                    1. @omni I'm at the point where doing that is reducing my capacity to be independent. It's utterly annoying. I'm 21 and I've never had a job because I've always been denied even an interview. It's frustrating.

                    2. @omni Crap like that is why I just gave up and decided I'd be freelance or die trying. Haven't died yet! :D
