      @comradeconventrix Wife recommends 14 ct gold minimum and 2 months's pay value IF you can afford it. But we both think it's a beautiful design.

      @comradeconventrix You could get the first ring in 14 carat gold probably. We like that one best, but I've found that women have vastly different taste in jewelry. It would be wise to ask her what she likes unless you don't mind exchanging it. Also, many jewelers only give store credit for returns, so you may want to be aware of that. One month's pay is great. I'm just thinking about couples who don't have to pay for a house, etc.. I only spent one month's pay on my wife's ring.

      @comradeconventrix You can probably ask for that one in 14 ct. gold, and maybe look for one with larger diamonds. course it will cost more but hopefully not too much
