    4. @redenchilada On a serious note, though; have it verify local files if you haven't already. You'd be surprised how often (particularly during heavy load, such as Steam sales) Steam problems come down to corrupted downloads.

      1. @bitshift But it ran perfectly last night. Also I did that and it's still crashing. It might be because I hibernate instead of shutting down?

        1. @redenchilada That could well be it. I can't see quite how that would do it, but I wouldn't rule it out.

          1. @bitshift Firefox tends to become unreponsive after a couple weeks or so of hibernation. I'll try a reboot.
