Hey @moonman .
-
@takePotato Knishesakenji howdy
-
@moonman How're you doing?
-
@takepapayaakenji so-so, energy level is improving but I'm still a shut-in. new medicine seems to be working but unfortunately I actually like the libido-suppressing aspects of some of the medicine and this one doesn't do that.
-
@moonman I use the obvious solo method to take care of libido. Works pretty well.
-
@takeFrankerZakenji that actually makes things worse for me. I like not even feeling an urge.
-
@moonman You could always do things the RDN way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enumclaw_horse_sex_case

@takemangoakenji how are you?
-
@moonman I'm good. Just got back from a trip into the mountains. Nature is good for the soul.
-
@takekiwiakenji I'm working out a way to do remote work from the mountains. that kind of misses the point, but only halfway because getting outdoors and doing the same thing is better than being indoors.
-
@moonman I'm thinking about finding a way to convince my boss to let me telework full-time and move into the mountains, but a good excuse is hard to find. Marriage seems like the best option based on what some of my other coworkers have done, but that's easier said than done.
-
@takeappleakenji I know what you're talking about, married people get a lot more options for time away from the office.
-
@moonman I do know someone I have a lot of history with and who is likeminded, but I don't know what kind of story I could come up with. "My wife and I want to live in the mountains" seems kind of weak.
-
@takePotato Knishesakenji a shame that it almost seems easier to wait till retirement to do what and live where you want.

@takepapayaakenji hard part for managers is if they give you anything then others start asking for special things and it gets out of control.
but just telecommuting would solve so many problems for many companies
I can't do it because I maintain hardware too
