      @redenchilada They make sure you have material for the time frame so just tell them you do and just do that. With the lack of guests so far, I'd assume you would be good to go.

        @abigpony "so far" I seriously have so little interest in the con right now it's not even funny. I mean, their guests. Some person who made the pony creator, someone who provides voices for people in the fandom, some of the Vinyl Scratch Tapes guys who, if they show anything, will have it up on Youtube the day after anyway, and a couple guys representing an open-source pony fangame whose updates are already available for anyone to download anyway. *grunt*

            @abigpony I mean, it's cool that they're running a convention so close to home, but at the same time it's gotten even less exposure than freaking Galacon and I dunno. It just doesn't feel worth the effort to me at this point. (And I'll admit, part of my empathy is from not getting registered for an artist booth in time. :s)

              @redenchilada Eh. All you really spend money to go to cons for is to spend more money on things when you get in anyway. The reason Galacon is getting so much exposure is because it's the UK's first and the reason US cons have been getting less and less is because every state and their uncle is having one nowadays. There's nothing new coming around and they're losing meaning, just another sign of the slowly dying fandom.

                @abigpony Honestly, yeah. A lot of cons are just trying to get in on the whole "pony convention" thing and aren't actually offering a whole bunch. I can see Bronycon, Everfree, and CG, but then the rest don't have much draw. (bluh bluh all the good cons are in the northern half of the US what a rip)

                  @redenchilada because nobody likes the south. I think the reason cons like Everfree got so much is because they've hyped them up since last year where they started so late on ours. The reasoning I think we don't have many guests either is because they're so burnt out on other cons they've been going to and can't afford to go everywhere.

                        @abigpony Yeah, at least you guys have a few cool local people you can invite over. We've got Levels (who's a pretty cool guy, don't get me wrong) and that's about it. :/ I might end up going just for Ponykart in the end though, I dunno.

                                    @abigpony It's super-easy, though. All you need to do is set a time, a place, and something to do (heck, you don't even need that in some cases). Then it's just getting the word out. It's what I did for the last meetup I went to!
