        I ran into more compatibility problems with 7 than vista as well, which was interesting

          @shpuld and then 8 comes out and improves explorer, bootup, compatibility, and a grapeload of other little tweaks, and then everyone hates on it for having a different start menu.

            @why on 8.1 you can just right click the start button and get the options you really need. the whole metro/modern thing was still a bad idea but at least you can completely avoid it. biggest improvement in 8 over 7 for me is how you can get task bar on every monitor, it was really annoying in 7 to only have it on one.
