Hello All, I have stalked much of you for a bit, and I have noticed that some of you might be meeting up IRL soon. I like to remind our users to be cautious, and would like to provide some tips. 1. Meet up at a bank. Yes, a bank, because it has LOTS of cameras. 2. Leave a note at your desk, with the date, time, and address of said bank, and where you're going afterwards, and what time you are returning. 3. Tell a friend/family member the same. 4. Be prepared to walk away, and have an exit plan.

@administrator Smarter advice has been given, but not on here.
-
@administrator Very sound advice.
-
@administrator Excellent advice, especially the bank part. I never thought of that.
-
@administrator That's really good advice. Never thought of a bank before. I typically choose restaurants, as there's lots of people.
-
@administrator awe admin cares about us :D but no that's good advise. Meet in a public place. Stay in a public place. Creepy ponies do exist.

@princessluna I usually never meet up with people from online unless if I knew them on a more personal level, so I had no trouble meeting them in open spaces and such. Still highly recommending going to a place with security cameras and/or lots of people.
-
@zarkanorf Yeah, likewise. I've met people from online before, but I had to give it a lot of consideration, public location, exit strategy, and even friends with me to back me up, before I would meet someone.
-
@princessluna I'm usually very easy-going when it comes to these things, but one time I insisted that the other person brought someone they know with them. Funny, though, since I go to the meet-ups solo so that the OTHER person would feel more secure when they bring their friends.
