@noirbatch well people thought 1 had a good campaign story but it was riddled with plotholes and nonsensical reasoning. I haven't read much about 2s, thougb.

@abigpony Black ops story has less plot holes than MW2. Black ops 2 does contain some, but are overlooked due to some incredible moments. The overall story is in my opinion one of the best.

@noirbatch Well MW was never supposed to be haralded for it's story. It was basically used to popularize the multiplayer mechanic. Black Ops was supposed to be "the magnificent story and single-player campaign with mediocre online.

@abigpony Yeah and to finalize the praise. They had very ambitious ideas for multiplayer. It may not be amazing, but it turned out pretty good.
