@lordsombra87 If the sound being played by your headphones can be heard from more than 30cm away, you're doing something wrong.
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:26:43 UTC from web-
@nerthos i think i bought too powerful headphones cuz once....i heard them OUTSIDE
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:27:38 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 Whoa man turn down the volume, that'll get you deaf by ~30
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:30:28 UTC from web-
@nerthos 30? Probably in a couple years if they're that loud.
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:31:04 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg In a couple years percieved damage. By 30, nearing full deafness.
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:32:15 UTC from web -
@flamingpandaomg if there really loud 1 sec, i wonder how painful it would be to blow your eardrum out
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:32:26 UTC from web-
@therainbowdashx Verily. Also you'd end up with balance problems.

@nerthos To late. i got god hearing but i made the mistake of not wearing ear plugs at the shop i worked or when i mowing my grass on a tractor or weed eater
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:31:48 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 But constantly forcing what's left does nothig good for them.
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:32:32 UTC from web-
@nerthos I've always had a hard time hearing the lyrics of songs so i turn the volume up just enough to tune out everyone around me
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:33:36 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 Get some noise-cancelling headphones instead of cranking everything up so loud if hearing things is an issue. Mine cancel out noise enough that I keep my phone at about 45% volume with them in and I can still hear everything in a crowd

@lordsombra87 You probably have a hearing deficiency in the human voice frequency range. My dad has that to a certain degree. A specialist might be able to somewhat fix that problem.
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:36:17 UTC from web-
@nerthos Might see one soon if that's the case
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:36:50 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 You lose nothing with trying, and it might very well better your quality of life on later years.

@nerthos And yet...i hear tornado sirens from ten miles away and a gun being test fired at the nearby plant that is over 6 miles aways and i can tell what gun it is
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:32:52 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 Hearing works in more than one frequency
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:33:14 UTC from web -
@lordsombra87 uhm those both are loud and are heard normally at those distances
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:33:42 UTC from web-
@therainbowdashx Not when the gun is inside a building and the the siren is old as my house and it's WW2 vintage
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:35:33 UTC from web-
@lordsombra87 not really older sirens are actually louder i believe the gun maybe
Sunday, 02-Jun-13 23:36:43 UTC from web-
