        @awlderpy I still have to make the back plates though, but I need help with that since I can't see my own back. On the plus side, without the shoulderplates nor the leg guards I'll be able to wear that under a jacket.

                    @scribus I think it's no 20, 0.8-0.9mm, from those old heavy computer cases. Since it's meant to protect from fists and knives, not swords and axes, it's more than enough.

        @scribus Well enough not to be bothersome. It only restricts extreme bending to the sides. The chest plate is independent from the others though, otherwise I couldn't bend much to the sides. The other four plates are held to the shoulders and to the belt with a couple leather strips to keep them in place
