@techdisk42 Yes, Doctor Who is mindless fun, but Star Trek (which some deny the awesomeness of what I'm about to say) addresses current events. Look at the original series. They had an african american woman, a scottish, an asian and to top that all off, a russian. This was all during 1960's. this was unheard of.
