  1. @greydragon412 Yeah, generally, the more antsy companies get about that kind of thing, the more customers they lose. Look at EA and the released of Spore. I have a copy of the game I bought legit in the store that I can't play because I installed it twice. That really makes me want to buy more games.

  2. @extremedash I totally get that. It's not very fair to people whose information gets compromised.

  3. @greydragon412 If everyone stopped buying PlayStation stuff until they started listening, you'd have change in a heartbeat. Companies want money, so don't give it to them, and they'll have to start listening.

  4. @greydragon412 *nods* So it gets out of hand. Thing about the Sony attack is that it didn't change anything. Sony is still doing what Sony does.

  5. @extremedash They're kind of difficult to ignore, though, so it's a crap situation all around. The internet has been pretty security lax for ages, so maybe this will prompt some change?

  6. @extremedash While I don't agree with what they're doing, if their attacks garner them the attention they're after, it's not like they're going to stop.

  7. @extremedash Oh? I missed the latest news obviously. *Goes to check*

  9. Oh crap. Breaking the rules! That link has some NSFW language in it, but is funny.

  10. @scribus Your instruction made me think of this: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/sriracha

  12. @scribus Yeah it certainly wouldn't be a short journey. But I'd be all bearded and sagely by the time I got there. Vagabond dessert wanderer style.

  13. @scribus So if a BronyCon gets set for a few months from now, I should begin hiking now, and perhaps I'll make it in time? :)

  17. @nutterguy Yeah, 30 is pretty good. I work between 19-25 hours a week. But I also get tipped pretty well, and that helps.

  18. @astra There is. I found it by accident. I couldn't take the job I had in one city with me to my new home. I moved about two months ago. Financially, this was a small setback. I don't make as much, although I make enough to get by. The work is much more gratifying, however, and the extra time to myself is awesome. Sometimes it finds you, as opposed to you finding it I think.

  19. @astra It's an interesting balance. I either have time to write, paint, and sing, and am poor, or have some monies, but have no time. So I definitely hear you.

  20. @astra Naps are an excellent way to spend some time. I've got a day off tomorrow, so time for some fiction generation.

  21. @midnightdreams Then you scored well! I've never seen a physical copy of the show. Last I remember seeing it was in reruns on YTV, maybe fifteen years ago?

  22. @abigpony I get that. I can't draw worth a hill of beans with a computer. But, hilariously, I can't write with a pencil and paper. My hands can't keep up with my head. So different mediums are definitely a plus.

  23. @abigpony So do you prefer analog art to digital then?

  24. @astra Hey! How've you been?

Monday, 13-Jun-11 07:33:06 UTC from web in context
  25. @extremedash Sweet dreams!

  26. @midnightdreams That is excellent. Great childhood memories for me there. I would have been about 7 when those first aired.

  27. @nutterguy Tada!

Monday, 13-Jun-11 07:07:27 UTC from web in context
  28. @nutterguy Indeed, and here you are. Although it seems everyone left just as we got back.
